Use Smartphone as song recognizer

It would be cool if I could use my smartphone as song recognizer (the microphone) and on lametric displayed the artist - song title.

What are you using to play the music? I'm using the Last.FM LaMetric App plus SimpleScrobbler on my Android devices (TVs, Phone), and this picks up most music players and more like YouTube.


The result for me is that whatever I listen to is scrobbled in Last.fm then shown on my LaMetric.
