Hi!

It seems like the device is implementing PWM at ~150Hz regardless of the brightness level.

I'm curious about the reason for a relatively low frequency flicker; is it to preserve power, hardware limitation, to smoothen the scrolling or anything else?

And is there an option to control the PWM frequency via an API?

Whether 150Hz is too low or can cause any discomfort is better to leave out of this topic :)

Correction: The flicker is actually a lower frequency than I thought :( 

It's around 60Hz ...
