I would like the ability to map the whole screen with a gif. I would like an app option to accept a a gif of proper size/format that would let the gif take up the full screen, similar to how we add icons today. An addition frame(s) could be part of the app and display a text frame before or after the image.

Is this something that has been discussed? I think this would open up a lot of possibilities for simple apps/images. We could use them like Sprites and get a lot of neat animations (albeit low res.).
