Also, I thought there used to be a battery icon somewhere in the app that showed the state of charge - seems that's missing or I can't find it - anyone know where it went?

Please update your software to v2.0.23.
We have discontinued manufacturing battery-operated devices, they were only available during the Kickstarter campaign.
And due to its wear battery charging was disabled and is no longer supported with the new firmware versions.

I received an email today there is a firmware update for the LaMetric units with a battery.
But on this page: https://firmware.lametric.com it says v2.0.22 is the latest, which I already did weeks ago.
So what is the latest version I should be at?
Also, what are the release notes as it relates to the battery? Is it going to be charged in "safer" or in a different fashion than before?
