Stop animations

Is it there a way to stop the animation.
For example in the Facebook app the Facebook logo and the thumbs up keep spinning.

It's not possible to stop icon animation in Facebook app from Smart Atoms . However, it's possible to create own application with static Facebook icon.

Unfortunately impossible. There is a possibility but I find it very difficult to create own application with static Facebook icon like it was suggested.

I am desperate for this option too - it's doing my head in keeping scrolling the animation of the icon! I have spent the day trying to research how to create my own app to achieve it but not getting anywhere. Any ideas from anyone on how to do this?
