A license is required to use the licensed features of Stats for Strava on your LaMetric smart device. This guide explains how to purchase and activate a license and how to resolve common issues.
1. How to get a license code
Step 1: Open the license settings
Open Stats for Strava app settings on your LaMetric smart device companion app.
Go to License.
Select Buy a License.
You’ll be redirected to the LaMetric online store to complete your purchase.
Step 2: Purchase your license
Follow the instructions in the online store to complete your purchase. Make sure to provide a valid email address that you can access.
Each license is purchased for one LaMetric smart device and provides one year of licensed access.
Step 3: Check your email
Your license code will be sent to the email address you provided during checkout. Codes are normally delivered automatically after purchase.
If you don’t see the email within a few minutes, check your spam or junk folder and verify that you’re checking the correct email address.
Step 4: Redeem your license code
Return to Stats for Strava → Settings → License.
Enter the license code you received by email.
Select Redeem License Code.
Your one-year license period starts when the code is successfully redeemed for the first time.
2. Important information about your license
One-year validity: Your license provides one year of licensed access, starting from the first successful redemption—not the purchase date.
One license per device: Each license is linked to the LaMetric smart device for which it was purchased. It cannot be used to activate another device.
Reinstalling or resetting your device: You can redeem the same code again on the original device if you reset the device or reinstall the app. Your existing expiration date remains unchanged; redeeming the code again does not restart or extend the license period.
After expiration: To continue using the licensed features, purchase a new license code and redeem it.
Keep your code: Save the license email so you can recover your code if you need to reinstall the app or reset your device.
3. Troubleshooting
I haven’t received my license code
License codes are normally delivered automatically within a few minutes of purchase.
Check your spam or junk folder.
Verify the email address you provided during checkout.
Check your order confirmation to ensure the purchase was completed.
If your code still hasn’t arrived, contact LaMetric support and provide your order number and the email address used for the purchase.
My license code is invalid
Check that you’ve entered the complete code correctly.
Make sure there are no extra spaces before or after the code.
Confirm that you’re entering the code in the Stats for Strava app.
If the code is still rejected, contact LaMetric support and include the exact error message.
My license code has already been redeemed
If you’re using the same LaMetric device for which the license was purchased, you can redeem the same code again after resetting the device or reinstalling the app.
Your existing expiration date will be retained. Redeeming the code again does not start a new one-year period.
If you’re trying to use the code on a different device, it won’t activate that device because licenses are linked to individual devices.
If you believe there’s an error, contact LaMetric support with your order details and the error message.
My license has expired
Your license is valid for one year from its first successful redemption.
To continue using the licensed features:
Open Stats for Strava → Settings → License.
Select Buy a License.
Complete your purchase and check your email for the new code.
Redeem the new code in the app.

If you’ve followed these steps and still can’t activate your license, contact LaMetric support. Include your order number, the email address used for the purchase, and any error message displayed by the app.
