Allow us to disable sound when IFTTT button is pressed

I'm using the IFTTT button as a sleep tracker - if I get woken up in the middle of the night by our kids, I press the button. Problem is that that the feedback sound disturbs my wife. If I turn the volume right down the radio alarm clock then doesn't wake me up :).
Can we have a way to switch off the "bong" sound that triggers when IFTTT is run?
